About the event

What does it mean to age and die well on Bowen Island?

Join us for an evening of honest conversation about aging, caregiving, end-of-life planning, dying, grief, and community care. Together, we will explore the realities, challenges, and possibilities of growing older in an island community, while sharing knowledge, questions, concerns, and hopes for the future.

This gathering is for elders, caregivers, neighbours, health-care providers, volunteers, those living with illness, those who are grieving, and anyone interested in helping create a more compassionate and connected Bowen.

You do not need to be an expert. You do not need to have the right words. You only need a willingness to be part of the conversation.
